What does it mean to Teach?

What does it mean to Teach?

  • By Jordan Bendat-Appell
  •  love, May 2015 Meditation Teacher Training, practice, presence

Presenter: Jordan Bendat – Appell
Event & Date: Jewish Meditation Teacher Training May 2015
Podcast Notes:
Jordan offers the understanding that teaching is intrinsic to this practice. He guides us to places in the liturgy that instruct us to teach, and to talk about a practice of love and of presence.

Jordan introduces the reflection that if one were to wait for perfect knowledge or skill before teaching, no teaching would ever occur. To teach this practice, we have to have confidence in the authenticity of our own human experience.
