Presenter: Rabbi Jordan Bendat-Appell
Event & Date: Jewish Meditation Teacher Training October 2014
Podcast Notes:
Jordan talks about how the practice impacts your being presence with the interactions you have with people. When some thing happens that is difficult, that is challenging, that is frustrating, that is annoying – that’s painful, that’s hard, that’s violent – what might help me use that experience as motivation to open and turn towards, to soften and become more intimate with my tender heart, as opposed to taking that exact same thing and using it to turn away from, to harden, to fight. It is this practice that is the foundation of our tenderness. This open heart is a fruit of our practice.
