The refund policy of The Awakened Heart Project (AHP) is as follows: Any deposit or payment made for a retreat presented by AHP is refundable for any reason prior to ten (10) days before the retreat, less an administrative fee of twenty five dollars ($25.00).
Within the period of ten (10) days prior to a retreat presented by AHP, any deposit or payment made for that retreat is refundable only for illness or exceptional circumstances, and at our discretion, less an administrative fee of twenty five dollars ($25.00).
Try to find a place in your home that offers the most seclusion, during the online parts of the day.
During sitting periods it will be good to leave your camera on, but you need not face the screen all the time.
Feel free to sit elsewhere in your formal practice area.
It is supportive to see each other on the zoom call at the start and end of sitting periods.
Please don’t use the chat window to talk to other participants,
but you can send notes to the teachers and to Brian who will manage the period.
Please don’t send chats during the silent periods or teaching periods, but rather before they start or after they end.
Since you are at home you may need or want to do some talking meals with housemates.
You might try and limit this - perhaps have two silent meals per day.
And make a shared meal, when and if you have them, part of the practice of paying attention.
One of the values we will emphasize is doing the practice of paying loving attention moment by moment while in your everyday life.
Shiviti YHVH Le'negdi Tamid (Psalms 16:8)
I aim to recognize the Holy Source of Being within me and surrounding me at all times.
May every image, word and sound on this website bring about more compassion and more awareness.
